Who I am
From skirt suits to steel-toe cap boots, to change management, then self-development, I’m Norma – leadership and change consultant, executive coach and former commercial lawyer.
Having experienced so much change in my own life, I am passionate about helping professionals and the organisations they work in, to evaluate what is not working for them and create meaningul change.
Despite appearing ‘successful’ in my twenties, I was riddled with self doubt and my critic was brutal. I was living someone else’s idea of a ‘successful’ life and had no idea what an option B could look like. Where in darnation would I start looking, even if I did?! At 29, I left my corporate career and landed in Brazil on a mission to ‘find myself’.
Through coaching, mentoring and deep healing work, I was able to discover self-compassion and accept what actually mattered to me. I was able to find my way back home to myself, and lead as the person I was always meant to be with greater self trust, self worth and direction.
I now support leaders and organisations to remember their true identity, their humanity. Whether that is in leading through uncertainty, challenging difficult stakeholders or building sustainable performance cultures.
From lived experience and my deep comittment to my ongoing development, I unlock the emotional and body intelligence underutilised in ‘technical experts’ and awaken the vulnerability and courage needed for them to do extraordinary things!
Why I do this
I love to help people and organisations remember who they are, what they really want to achieve, and why they do it. This is what I believe our “home” is, our North Star, keeping us focused during growth and anchored in uncertainty.
Initially driven by a fear of ‘not amounting to anything’ and then from ongoing nudges from my intution, I have deeply examined what a meaningful life and career look like for me. I have learned the painful lesson of challenging my perfectionism, endless achieving and relentless self doubt. I see how these patterns are also impacting great people and organisations – it shows up as self protection, low productivity and feigned presence.
I believe that by developing more self-aware, secure leaders, we can grow more confident, self-directed teams which supports ambitious, thriving organisations.
I am particularly passionate about improving organisational cultures so that people feel like they belong and take personal responsibility for their growth, boundaries and impact.

How I Work
My approach combines coaching, behavioural science, and deep inner work. I focus on beliefs and behaviours that drive results, helping build self-worth, belonging, and accountability from the inside out. I balance uncomfortable truths with humour and lived experience!
Using a no-BS, intuitive approach, I partner with leaders on an individual and organisational basis to understand:
- What truly matters to you and why you do what you do.
- What’s working well and what changes you would like to see.
- What you uniquely need to ensure the change happens.
We will then co-design a solution that suits your specific needs, and I will be there alongside you to keep you motivated and accountable for success!
My Methodologies
70% of organisations say leaders must master a much broader range of behaviours to meet current and future demands
(HBR, 2025).
Leaders are now expected to be multi-disciplinary specialists, which is not achievable without structured development.
My experience working with many individuals and organisations has led me to explore and make use a range of frameworks.
My Values
If you haven’t gathered by now, I’m not your typical leadership and change partner! My approach is a unique combination of diverse industry experience, intuition and lesser known frameworks. I think it’s important to balance the deep, reflective work with lighter, self-deprecating moments. Here is what you can expect when working with me:
Growth
We’re here to evolve, not to stay small, safe, or stuck. Growth doesn’t always look like corporate ladder progression or endlessly increasing targets. Sometimes it’s pausing, making mistakes, or having the courage to change the plan.
I create spaces where growth is safe, aligened to purpose, and sustainable for individuals and organisations alike.
Freedom
To lead effectively, we must feel free to speak honestly, work to our strengths, and live in alignment with our values.
I help clients break free from expectations and internalised stories about what is possible for them, so that they can lead with clarity, confidence and integrity.
Humour
This work is serious but we don’t have to take ourselves seriously in it. I believe we grow and learn faster when we can drop the mask, be willing to be wrong and accept there is so much don’t know!
When we can laugh together, we realise that we have a lot in common and that whatever we are worried about, doesn’t matter half as much as we think!!
Personal Pearls of Wisdom
I have been described as ‘brave’ and I never really placed much weight on it. Anyone can do what I have done. But I now know that it IS brave to do the work needed to lead yourself. It often involves challenging the limiting stories we tell about who you are and what is possible for you and others. With non judgement and fierce tenderness, I am willing to be the one to help you do that.
The hardest part is taking the first step and reaching out for support, but in doing so, I have personally learned the following:
You don’t have to numb self-doubt and out-run shame.
You can be professional AND show your true personality, emotions, and desires.
Regret is more painful than fear.
You are not broken or alone – you just have safety-seeking mechanisms that need an update!
