Who I Am
I’m a leadership development coach, facilitator, and change consultant with over 15 years’ experience across legal, construction, and change consulting in a wide range of industries. From law firms to multi-disciplinary project teams, I’ve led and delivered in environments that value competition, busyness and ‘always on’ performance, and I’ve seen the hurt and disillusionment when the people at the top lack self-leadership, courage and integrity.
I am a visionary and particularly passionate about improving organisational cultures so that people feel like they belong and take personal responsibility for their growth, boundaries and impact.
I am a recovering people-pleaser, perfectionist with a tendency towards high-functioning anxiety. I am not unique in this and want to normalise conversations about these understandable, but deeply painful ways of being.
Despite appearing ‘successful’ in my personal and professional life, my twenties were defined by feeling I was too much and equally not good enough. My inner critic was a bully and I numbed myself with food, chronic busy-ness and alcohol to cope with the self-doubt. I didn’t know how to trust my intuition. I didn’t even know what that sounded like! I felt like I was living someone else’s idea of a ‘successful’ life but I had no idea what a happier, healthier, more authentic life could look like for me. Where in darnation would I start looking, even if I did?! How could I get more glitter and fun back in my life?!
Through coaching, mentoring and deep healing work, I was able to discover self-compassion and accept what actually mattered to me. I was able to find my way back home to myself, to the person I was always meant to be – before life experience slapped a whole load of ‘should’s’ and perfectionism on me!
On the back of my squiggly career and upskilling, I now partner with professional services firms to develop emotionally intelligent, self-aware leaders who build strong teams and sustainable, meaningful careers. My work is rooted in the belief that the most effective leaders are not the loudest or the busiest. They are the ones that have done the work to identify and claim – who they are, what is important to them and how they want to develop and influence others.
How I Work
My approach combines coaching, behavioural science, and deep inner work. I focus on the beliefs and behaviours that drive outcomes and results, helping individuals and organisations build self-worth, belonging, and accountability from the inside out.
Using an intuitive, no BS, emotionally intelligent approach, I courageously partner with leaders to:
- Tune into what truly matters to them and why they do what they do
- Navigate change and challenges with self-trust and integrity
- Lead with clarity, compassion, and conviction in a style that feels authentic and aligned with them
I work at the level of self worth as this is the foundation upon which leaders can implement shifts in their beliefs and behaviours in order to achieve the results the want to see in their outer world. My work can feel like therapy, but it is nothing to be afraid of as it is done with deep compassion and credibility. I call it “healing through humour” as I bring lots of fun and relatable lived experience to help leaders feel less isolated or flawed. I am skilled in guiding a room of professionals in self-discovery and learning from others to deepen and strengthen relationships between peers who otherwise thought they had nothing meaningful in common.
I don’t have all the answers but I know I am called to do this work of healing the corporate world. I will consult with you to understand what is working, what is not working and what changes you would like to see in your organisation. I will co-design a solution that suits your needs and reignites your passion for your organisational mission. I will be alongside you to measure success and plan a way forward beyond any programme or coaching I provide so that you and the people in your organisation can maintain the great momentum created!
Why My Work Matters
Too many leadership programmes and training focus on academic theory and lack the ‘backbone and heart’ required to deeply support people. These programmes albeit well-meaning, give the “illusion of change” but there is no real shift in behaviours and therefore, results.
Most professionals are remarkably high functioning given the levels of chronic competing, perfectionism, hiding, self-doubt and busyness they are operating from. However, this is not sustainable. People need and deserve the right support. I don’t want people to feel they have no other option but to leave the corporate world and go self-employed, like I did. I see the value of organisations. I want them to be places that great people feel they belong in, and which allow them to realise their potential. For this to happen, there needs to be a rethink of how organisations work and how their people are supported. Whether this is through transformational 1:1 coaching or empowering leadership development, it would be my privilege to work with you!
What I Believe
- Your life could be long, and it doesn’t have to be spent trying to numb out self-doubt and outrun shame, there is another way
- You can be professional AND show your true personality, emotions and desires
- Regret is more painful than fear
- You are not broken or alone, you just have safety-seeking mechanisms that are no longer helpful and need an update!
Whether your people are navigating a career transition, returning to work after leave, or developing their leadership style, it all stems back to self-leadership.
What I Value
Growth
I believe we’re here to evolve, not to stay small, safe, or stuck. Growth doesn’t always look like progression on a corporate ladder. Sometimes it’s pausing, making mistakes and breaking things, or going off on a new path entirely. I create spaces where growth is safe, supported, and sustainable, for individuals and organisations alike.
Freedom
To lead effectively, we must feel free, free to speak honestly, work to our strengths, and live in alignment with our values. I help clients break free from outdated expectations and internalised stories about what is possible for them, so that they can lead with clarity, confidence and integrity.
Humour
This work is serious but we don’t have to take ourselves seriously in it. I believe we grow and learn faster when we can have fun, drop the mask and curse if that’s your vibe! When we can laugh together, we realise that we have more in common that whatever we are worried or competing about doesn’t really matter half as much as we think!!
